Taken by Cars, in association with Pelicola.tv, launches their latest music video "Neon Brights" on MusikCinemaNeu. Starring Jake Cuenca and realized by renowned music video director Wincy Ong. In conjunction with the online premiere of the video on Pelicola.tv, the video also premiered live on the 21st of March 2009 at Capone's Bistro in A. Venue Makati City.

"Neon Brights" is taken off the band's debut album Endings of a New Kind. The video pushes the limits of Philippine music video standards with its innovative fusion of live footage and animated graphics, the latter appearing as though they are part of the footage and the story. "Neon Brights" also stars Jake Cuenca, one of television and print's hottest talents today. This video is a perfect union of the haunting yet energetic sound of Taken by Cars and the vision of one the country's most creative directors today.

Director's Notes
In making the music video, I drew a lot of inspiration from ads by Nike and movies like Donnie Darko and Garden State, those millennial hipster movies. It was such a joy working with Jake Cuenca. He was really game throughout the shoot. The post-production almost took forever since my visual effects used rotoscoping in most of the shots. The general vibe of the video for me is somewhat mysterious and ominous. - Wincy Ong
